Dangerous unrestricted parking

Reported via desktop in the Highway Schemes category anonymously at 11:12, Thu 23 June 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Since Meadow Lane car park was closed to commuters etc they park on both sides of the stretch of Meadow Lane from Donnington Bridge Road to the bollards before Fairacres Road. Schoolchildren, cyclists and walkers are now struggling to get down the lane safely, and wider vehicles such as refuse lorries have difficulty getting down the length of the lane. Controlled parking and/or double yellow lines on the river side of the lane are urgently needed. I've witnessed several near misses in recent weeks.

  • No I disagree. If anyone is parked inconsiderately then the parking wardens can fine them in the usual way. We do not need further restriction here
