New young tree hiding the traffic light, as the tree puts on new growth

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 07:34, Thu 23 June 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I noticed this last year when I observed a bus driver in front of me continue to go forward when a traffic light was on red. There is a fairly new housing development on the A44 leaving Chipping Norton. There are traffic lights just before the entry to the housing estate and then a pelican crossing on the far side of the traffic lights. As a small tree on the left before the traffic lights comes into leaf, it obscures the traffic light on the left, however the pelican crossing light ahead can clearly be seen. It is easy for someone who is not familiar with the new arrangement to continue forward towards the pelican crossing red light, only to realise they are crossing the red traffic light as they come alongside of it. The vehicle in front of me who did this , was able to reverse a little as I had stopped further back when I saw what had happened.
