Overgrown weeds narrowing pavement

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The stretch of pavement just beyond Hanborough Gate up to the new section of pavement is so overgrown by weeds that it is narrowing an already narrow pavement - less than 1m wide - and dangerously forcing pedestrians and all using it close to the main highway, with traffic passing at 50mph. Please clear the pavement immediately so that those using it can do so safely and without risk of exposure to passing cars and HGVs.

  • This report has been wrongly linked in your report to the shared pedestrian/cycle route at the west end of Hanborough, by the new housing development, Hanborough Gate. This report concerns the pavement at the Blenheim Hanborough Gate at the east end of Hanborough, where the very narrow pavement is overgrown by weeds.
