Bollard / traffic filter on Clive Road cut down.

Reported via mobile in the Highway Schemes category anonymously at 12:47, Tue 21 June 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The fire service cut through the traffic filter / bollards so it needs replacing. It was the bendy plastic sort. Thank you!

  • Thank you for raising this. Shows very nicely why we cannot have more permanent bollards in the area.

  • Not the case. EMS have access through the filters with the plastic bollards. https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=EaWivOrQWUo

  • That exactly proves my point. By "more permanent" I meant concrete or the like. Plastic bollards can easily be cut down or driven over making sure the community is kept safe in the event of an emergency.

  • Please reinstate the bollard on Clive Road as soon as possible. It has improved the quality of the street so much and plenty of us want to keep it. Thankyou.
