Overgrown alleyway leading from Charney Avenue to Peachcroft Road
Reported via mobile in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 15:54, Mon 20 June 2022
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The state of this alleyway has been repeatedly reported over the years, but there has never been any significant improvement.
The pavement is barely accessible in some areas due to over grown weeds.
Every lamppost is obstructed by overhanging trees, making the alley dark and dingy.
The tree at the entrance to the alley (by the pub) is huge - you have to duck to pass under it.
The conifers have been trimmed back by residents, but still overhang blocking out any natural light.
The state of it is truly disgusting- the council should be ashamed. Would you want your loved ones to walk down here at night? I don’t know of anyone that feels safe using it.
