  • Thank you for your enquiry. The County Council currently have an initiative to make 20mph more commonplace within the Towns and Villages of the County. Checkendon Parish Council has, most certainly, applied for the village to be considered and, if successful, this will be implemented along with the 'refresh' of the linemarking roundels to show 20mph instead of the 30mph. We trust this helps and if appropriate, do speak with the Parish Council as this work progresses.
