Swish destroyed grassed area

Reported via desktop in the Current Roadworks category anonymously at 16:52, Wed 15 June 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This area of grass has been destroyed again by Swish and their disregard to proper reinstatement. This is the third time they have trashed a grass verge with storage and waste piles. This current attempt to reinstate did not remove fully the waste and rubble prior to the new topsoil so all that been done is a quick cover with uneven soil and bit of seed. This area was flat and green before they destroyed it and their poor attempt at reinstatement has left existing rubble underlying and showing through the uneven surface and not enough coverage of top soil to level or enough seed, These contractors need better supervision from the Council with the mess they are leaving the Village with substandard reinstatement.

  • I agree, the standard of reinstatement by Swish is disgraceful all around the village, and in this location in particular.
