Overgrown hedges

A number of hedges on private property at the top of Makins Road have become overgrown encroaching on the footpaths which are already worn and uneven, making it very dangerous for pedestrians, particularly the elderly or school children to use the pavement safely.

  • Thank you for your report, I have attended site today and will now issue letters to the property owners concerned, requesting for the cutback of the encroachment of the footway. They will be given 28days from the date of receiving the letter to comply.We will revisit after this period to check the situation.
