The shared use pavement has been completely closed for several days with no safe alternative route provided for pedestrians and cyclists and inadequate signage. Upon encountering the first sign one must retrace their steps around 50m to the nearest safe crossing point. A safe bypass to the works for pedestrians and cyclists should be provided.
