Burdrop Street coming fromHawk's Lane multiple potholes
Reported via desktop anonymously at 15:37, Wednesday 8 June 2022
Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The unnamed street starting from Hawk's lane all the way towards the Surgery (OX15 5RQ) is literally a patchwork of multiple repairs and multiple potholes on an incline, a big danger to old age people visiting the surgery and cars alike, not least because of the incline. This issue has been ongoing for several years. Please properly resurface this part with suitable tarmac for intense use on an incline

Thank you for your reply, which is rather cryptic. Can you confirm (broadly) when it will be fixed and can you confirm it will be fundamentally fixed by resurfacing? That would very kind of you, thank you. Bert

I note some of the potholes have been marked by white lines to be repaired but many major damages have been missed on this just 50 yards road which looks worse than a patchwork. Old repairs were clearly done with inferior quality asphalt on this steep slope. May I respectfully ask you to reconsider the limited intended repairs and re-tarmac the full 50 yards long street from Hawkes Lane to the Surgery? When I see the patchwork of repairs this problem has been ongoing for several years and will have costed a lot of money. i include some further photos with potholes unmarked for repairs. The breakages in the tarmac which you have not marked will all be dangerous to Surgery visitors within months if not weeks... It is really horrendous.... Thank you for considering. This is now really unsafe to drive on and there is nowhere else for surgery visitors to leave their cars. I would think at least 50 cars use this piece of road every day. I agree with the previous person who reported this that it needs a complete re-make/resurface not just the 'dragon' filling in selected holes with tarmac that doesn't stay in for long. When will it be done please?
