  • Hello, First of all, I would like to congratulate Oxford council for the work they have done with the LTN's. It makes a huge difference in the safety and quality of air in our roads, specially for those of us with children. The peace we enjoy now while living in the centre of Oxford was a dream of us for a long time. I write you to suggest some adjustments on the LTN's in St Clements area. Yesterday evening, 14 July, I walked to Sainsburys supermarket from my house in Stockmore Street, and I saw. 1. The bollard that blocks the road had been knocked off and broken. 2. There was a car parked at the end of Stockmore Street over doble yellow lines where one is supposed to turn the car around. 3. In Marston Street, in the space between the planters/bollards and the intersection with Cowley road, there were 2 cars parked, which made people have to walk around the cars and therefore be on the road with the buses driving on. I am very happy that I can now send my children to the supermarket and they don't have to cross any road where cars can go and that makes it very safe. But on the other hand I don't see the need for the space between the planters and Cowley road which, as I said, is used as a carpark and makes the road unsafe again. Maybe some cameras need to be installed around the LTN's and more hard fines? I know it's early days for the LTN's and I am sure the Council will be making future adjustments. Many thanks. Maria Gallart. Stockmore Street resident
