Damage to bases of 9 trees on Frys Hill verges by mowing grass

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 01:13, Monday 23 May 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

On 19/05/22 the grass verges were mown. Inadequate protection was provided to the base of the trees to stop the machine gouging the base of the trunks and stripping bark. All the trees on both sides of the road from the Grenoble Rd down to Acacia Avenue have been damaged to some extent. There may also be other damage in other areas of the Leys and Oxford where the same poor practices have been used.
