12" diameter pothold, enlarging quickly

This pothole appeared in the road close to houses 9 and 8 Crown Street, about a week ago, when a thick chunk of tarmac became fully dislodged (the surface had previously not seemed damaged, so some sudden incident). The original chunk is now sitting on the pavement beside the road. The hole is enlarging very fast, from traffic over it and heavy rain. A danger to cyclists now and more so each day.
