Potholes along London Lane and muddy messy grass verges due to lorry’s and vans mounting curbs

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:22, Wed 18 May 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I recently reported these long deep pot holes that run either side of the entrance to The Old Vicarage (20 London Lane) as they fill with water and collect all the rubbish that flow down from the main road - lorrys and vans also hurl around this corner and mount the verg to avoid on coming cars, walkers, horse riders so it is impossible to keep these verges looking nice. We have spent money and time grass seeding them to improve the apprearance and keep them tidy but it is impossible as cars are constantly running over them . The potholes need filling and also some sort of edging put along this whole stretch of the outside of the property so the grass can grow and the mud is not splattered all over the place. The speed of the traffic is a separate issue but cars travel at such a dangerous speed around this corner and also leaving the village - with no regard to dog walkers, horse riders or bike riders. The whole villages limit should be reduced to 20mph !
