Traffic Turning warning sign in the hedge going towards Swindon

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 08:44, Tuesday 17 May 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This is again being reported as on the previous report it has been passed to the relevant department and they say it has been fixed. Well it is still in the hedge and has not been fixed!

  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, 180M North of Rockley End, A420 Faringdon Rd, Cumnor, Southbound side, previously, in relation to 2 previous reports, see photos, and assessed the issue you have identified. Having looked at this report, I have found that it is a triplicate of the original report. This issue was reported to the Vale Traffic Schemes Team, at the time, so they are already aware of the issue and have requested that this redundant advance warning sign/pole for vehicles turning loose and laying on hedge be removed and disposed of.

I am therefore re-assigning this report to the Vale Traffic Schemes Team for their appraisal and assessment, with regards to the original report.
