Overgrown trees on public path

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 18:32, Monday 16 May 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

These trees / bushes are overgrown and causing people to have to duck and dive through the cut through between Howard Cornish road and Harding way. This is a popular cut through and it’s becoming dangerous. It has been like this for around 1 month and will only get worse

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited the location and assessed the trees. The trees are on land not deemed to be part of the highway maintainable at public expense and therefore, Oxfordshire County Council do not have responsibility for the trees as local highway authority. I believe the tree may be the responsibility of the Marcham Parish Council and therefore you should contact them directly to pursue this enquiry further.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
