Grass Cutting Required

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category by Witney Town Council at 14:09, Friday 13 May 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

From: Highway Enquiries - E&E <Highway.Enquiries@Oxfordshire.gov.uk> Sent: 13 May 2022 13:20 To: Facilities <facilities@witney-tc.gov.uk> Subject: RE: Grounds Maintenance - Woodland Road, Witney

Hi Derek,

I’ve taken a look on our Highway Boundaries map and it does appear it is ours to maintain. Having a look on FixMyStreet I can see there are trees as well as grass, so I’m not entirely sure what their expectation is, whether it’s just for the grass to be cut or whether they are concerned about the trees as well.

Are you able to ask the customer to report this on FixMyStreet (link below) explaining the situation fully as this will go directly to the Highway Inspector for the area to look into, they can add photo’s as well. The inspector will then update the report once they’ve investigated. FixMyStreet (oxfordshire.gov.uk)

Kind regards
