Poor road marking layout
Reported via mobile in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Adrian Rosser at 14:00, Friday 13 May 2022
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Driving west and wanting to go south on the A34 one has to stay in the left hand lane until very close to the junction. There is a filter to go straight on, which is often obstructed by myself and other drivers. I have been hooted at and abused. Previously one remained in the right hand lane until close to the junction one went in to A34s or A34n lane, thus staying out of the traffic filtering to Botley

Thank you for your report. The Construction Projects Team have responded, to your concerns, with this reply:
"The recently implemented changes to the junction will continue to be closely monitored including reviewing the results of a post completion Road Safety Audit. Any remedial actions that are identified as necessary will be afforded full consideration at that time. This period of monitoring is normal practice for implemented highway / traffic schemes."
I am therefore closing this report.
