Cycle route between Abingdon and Culham Science Centre

Reported via desktop in the Potholes and maintenance category anonymously at 10:31, Thursday 12 May 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Condition of cycle route between Abingdon & Culham Science Centre (used by many commuters working on this site) is in disrepair along much of the route. In many places, overgrowing vegetation leaves only a narrow passable area to be shared by pedestrians and cyclists in both directions, which could cause accidents. The pavement is also cracked and uneven along much of the route, making it difficult to cycle and causing greater fatigue to tyres. I believe if this cycle route was improved, more people would cycle to work, reducing traffic congestion over Abingdon bridge.
