Traffic posts need to be re-installed (highway markers)

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 16:07, Tue 10 May 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

One or two traffic posts are missing from the verge edge, this is allowing traffic to drive off the road and undermine the stabilty of the dry stone wall as well as destroying the grass verge. I have spoken to a Parish council member, have been advised to speak to you first.

  • PLEASE come and fit traffic posts, as vehicles are wreaking the side verge and endangering the dry stone wall. We are trying to keep them off, but the missing posts are making this impossible.

  • Do we assume that Oxfordshire County Council are now undertaking to cover all and any cost of damage to the dry stone wall and the private grass verge ? Compliance with their request of the 2/11/22 without the fitment of the requested traffic posts, will result in further damage (sometimes dilerate), we assume OCC will now cover these costs ?
