No shade on new spotlights installed on village green ha

Reported via desktop in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 22:55, Mon 9 May 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A few days ago it seems that new type of street lighting has been installed through the village, very intense, with no shades like conventional streetlights. These lights are very intense. This makes cycling and driving tricky at some angles along the lanes, but easy to look away (not ideally safe to do that!). However, am particularly complaining because the spotlight on the green shines directly into my living room and bedroom, a very intense beam (see photo).

Please! can you install proper shades on street lights to direct the light in a downward cone, to avoid dazzle, rather than a complete semisphere. If you could attend to the village green light we would be particularly grateful, as you can see from the photo, this is now very disturbing.
