Overgrown Hedges

Reported via desktop in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 16:27, Monday 9 May 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Following last year's very efficient cutting back of the hedges along Gatehampton Road, the time has come for it to be done again as the hedges are now seriously impeding the flow of traffic on the road. There is now nowhere for walkers to stand out of the way of vehicles on this single lane, single vehicle road and someone is likely to get hurt. Please confirm that the cutting of the foliage on Gatehampton Road has been included in the schedule and what date the work will be undertaken?

  • 5 weeks later and no response? There are a great deal of walkers and children along this road with nowhere to take shelter when cars pass. Please see attached photo……….PLEASE respond with a date for this work to be done.
