Linear pothole that is more than a metre long
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 19:01, Mon 2 May 2022
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The road surface of the carriageway from the Greet Hall, Warborough all the way to the 30mph speed road markings and speed limiter sign just past number 187 Thame Road (i.e. heading out towards Stadhampton) has deteriorated to such an extent that when heavy vehicles are hitting these potholes, it has been causing houses to vibrate. The potholes are linear in shape and have been getting worse over the last 2-3 years. The photo attached is the worse one and is now quite deep but the smaller potholes have also increased in length and depth over the last winter. OCC recently spent money remarking the middle white line and putting 30 mph speed limit marks on the road surface itself at about the same time as the speed limiter sign was erected at the request of the parish council. However nothing was done about repairing the road surface beforehand. These potholes have been allowed to develop and get worse over the last 2-3 years. Please can someone come and do a road surface survey and get this stretch of road repaired as soon as possible. Many thanks
