Deer's Lane, Checkendon

Reported via desktop in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 06:45, Wed 27 April 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I've just passed a semi mature oak tree that has snapped out about 1m up rolled of its stump and been caught up in a tree on the opposite side of the road causing some damage. I don't think it is going anywhere soon but it looks like there are some large limbs left hanging in the supporting tree. The tree is located on Deer's Lane just before it becomes Hooked Lane. If you use what 3 words it is at clinic.period.twit.

I have attached photos for reference. There is an Ash tree next to it that might be worth investigating too, it has a large basal cavity and signs of Die Back. It is likely to fall into the field and not the highway though.

Council ref: ENQ22923433
