Unable to walk safely

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Vehicles blocking safe path as being forced into the road by vehicles parking on verge . Pedestrians have no safe passage to walk ! Also vehicles DAMAGING Verge again making it in level and unsafe to walk , suggest bollards or barrier / rocks on verge to stop damage .

  • Vehicles should not normally be parked wholly or partly on verges and footways because doing so causes an obstruction and a danger to pedestrians, people with disabilities, children and other vulnerable people.

  • Thank you for your report. We recommend that you bring this to the attention of your local town or parish council as they will be able to provide support of funding to any potential schemes that could protect the verge in this area. Due to the width of the road double yellows could be an option too.
