  • This subsidence is getting so bad traffic is swerving into the middle of road towards oncoming traffic to avoid it (since now scrapping underside of cars). Please fix now! How long will this take? This has been on your site for too long now.

  • Road is still seriously dangerous

Posted anonymously at 18:05, Sat 27 August 2022

  • A team came and "fixed" this earlier in the week. However all they did was patch up a small hole on the side of the subsistence. This has made it even worse as there is now a bulge of tarmac in the middle of the dip. I have watched cars hit this and the nasty dip after the new tarmac, one car nearly went into the ditch. I would expect it to cause serious damage to a vehicle very soon if left like this. The alternative is that cars are veering onto the other side of the road and oncoming traffic to avoid it. Please fill in the larger dip caused by subsistence and make the road surface safe again. The work you did this week has made it worse and even more dangerous.
