Lamp not replaced

Reported via mobile in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 10:47, Wed 20 April 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

All Street lights on Bridle Close have been replaced along with alley way street lights behind our house but this one has been missed. It is not particularly bright compared to the new replacement lamps.

  • I see a local newspaper report blaming the haphazard replacement on labour and materials shortage. This lamp was simply not seen and needs replacing and clearly enough materials were available at the time to replace on pedestrian alleyways but missed lighting up the traffic turning area which is dangerous when large vans and trucks come to turn and visibility is poor especially winter evenings.
