Signage obstructing cycle path

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Works to improve safety on the road for cyclists have made the cycle/footpath path unsafe. Multiple signs have been set up on the already narrow cycle/footpath. In particular the 2 signs on the railway bridge have reduced the width by 50% and require users to move very close to the highway. Why have you done this? Please publish you risk assesment, note that I request this under the freedom of information legislation. Thank you

  • Relates probably a previous report. The road signs about cyclists on the x2 bridge are now just laid down so are obstructive but also not doing the job of signage as they're not visible.
