Multiple potholes in this road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 09:34, Saturday 16 April 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I believe this road was surfaced some 50 years ago, since then traffic has increased considerably both in volume and type, particularly weight and frequency. Repairs take place after reports such as already made, but the standard of repair and quality of product means problem back very soon. I believe that at present there exists some 12 or so holes which need immediate or soon repair, they are an inconvenience to traffic, and a danger to pedestrians, this road is a link to a large area of goring to the village centre. Perhaps consideration could be given to a full resurfacing with proper road quality product or at least improve the standard of repair so that they last.

  • I refer to my post of 16th April. Whilst you say this has been passed to the appropriate team nothing seems to have happened. Previous reports by other persons have equally not received attention, so what is happening.
