Turn sign in verge

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 08:58, Sat 16 April 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Turn sign at A329/Church Road junction has been collapsed and in the verge for several weeks now. Urgent replacement is required to guide drivers and avoid a potential 'late braking' accident. Consideration is required of the robustness of signage at this location, as it is regularly dislodged/demolished.

  • This was initially reported in November as it started to collapse and then again in February, when it did. The last message was:Thank you for bringing the current/ updated condition of this sign and to our attention and apologies for the delay in getting a response sent out. The updated details have since been forwarded though to the signs gang. Unfortunately our signs maintenance budget for the 2021 financial year was fully allocated before this sign could be programmed in. This job has been added to the 2022 list and is currently programmed in for mid to early May time.
