Led lighting blinding

The lamps have recently been replaced to led lamps. However the light is now very artificial and as our bedroom and living room window is just under it, it is affecting our sleep. We appreciate that led is more environmentally friendly however these need to be dimmed after a certain time as the output is far too bright. Thanks
