Abnormal loads on A40 Northern Bypass road

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The current road works are stopping JARTS taking abnormal loads from the A34 onto the A40 going west towards Brize Norton. My concern is the metal poles, I assume for signs, on the left hand side if heading west on A40; these are close to the kerb and if left after roadworks this will stop our loads going along this road. Our loads run close the the ground and to go over kerbs but trief curbs we have to raise the trailer suspension to get over trief curbs but this is only for a short duration and at no more than 15km/ph. We are currently using the Fosse way from Cirencester to A40 this is not ideal and increases the chances of an accident.

It appears from the online Oxfords new gateway page that there are trees to be planted all along the A40 from Wolvercote roundabout to going under A34. As the trees grow this will cause issues with Abnormal loads moves and potential damage to Loads carrying aircraft.

Traffic light not working - stuck on red going towards cassington from the wolvercote roundabout. Causing confusion and traffic as a result. Ambulance couldn’t get through and front drivers not going through the red light.

This query is still at investigating, please can I have an update? I am the Transport Manager for JARTS a Sqn in the MOD that transports Abnormal Loads into and out of RAF Brize Norton along A40 and A34.
