Light pollution in house/bedrooms due to street lights

Reported via desktop in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 11:26, Sun 3 April 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Lamp post 22 was installed after we moved in and right up against our house, directly outside bedroom window. New lamp style now illuminates the entire room, far worse than before and even now lighting up downstairs rooms. Previously had plastic blocker attached to old style lamp which made some difference. This needs to be addressed as it is an inappropriate amount of bright light to shine into a house. The issue of the placing of the light was starting to be raised elsewhere prior to Covid.

Post number 4 also shines directly into a bedroom and had a plastic blocker fitted. New style light causing far more issues than previous lamp which had to have a plastic light blocker. This needs addressing again. This lamp is now also affecting the rooms downstairs.
