    The drain cover is very noisy now and is showing signs of breaking up. I am worried that if it fails completely it will cause an accident.

  • Dear Mr Brown,

    The manhole in question has been addressed with the contractor and it's going to be paco patched when their road space application has been approved by Network Management and when they finish off the Section 278 works.

  • The noisy drains is now worse than ever due to the fact that the road has been resurfaced and the drain covers are now lower than the road surface so the wheels of vehicles drop down on to the covers. It would have been sensible to replace them when the road was resurfaced but they weren’t. We subsequently were given the date of the 23rd when a paco patch will be fitted but this has come and gone still without anything being done. When will it be done now ?

  • Still nothing done . Both drain covers ( the one outside old School house and the one further down which were installed at the same time last year are so noisy. Please can you get these done ! It is causing prelonged distress to residents living adjacent to them .
