Street light too Bright

Reported via mobile in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 21:23, Sun 27 March 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There has been a new LED street light bulb installed on an existing street light outside my bedroom window, the previous light was fine, however the new bulb is way too bright and now affects my sleeping. I have black out blinds and now the light shines through. I can't seea number on the street light as it has worn away. For accurate reference I live in 35 the Oaks Carterton. I would appreciate some assistance in getting this matter rectified.

  • The new LED streetlight (number 10) opposite my house, 35 the Oaks, is too bright and shines into my bedroom making it difficult to sleep. We would appreciate shades beining attached to minimise the disruption and help solve this problem
