Road traffic issues daily with drivers trying to get across the bridge

This bridge needs traffic lights - the bridge at Crawley has traffic lights and this bridge has more traffic crossing it daily.

I experience daily the traffic chaos on this bridge, the near misses of accidents and the lunatics that speed up to it to beat the traffic waiting to drive over the bridge from the opposite side.

There is a strong case for traffic lights to control the traffic crossing the bridge, making it safer as pedestrians are also on this bridge at the same time as the traffic.
