Steventon Railway Bridge

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 09:26, Tuesday 22 March 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The one way system at Steventon Bridge over the road is dangerous. Traffic cannot see what's on the other side adequately. Traffic lights are needed here.

  • The priority going over Steventon bridge is not according to the Highway Code. i.e. priority should always be with the driver going up a hill rather than coming down. If your in a small car it is really difficult to see if it’s safe without committing yourself to the middle of the road, when leaving the village, and whereas if your coming down the hill you have better visibility even in a small car.
