Dangerous road surface

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 21:25, Thu 17 March 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Over many months large sections of this road have been subsiding and potholes have been forming. It is very dangerous as cars are increasingly driving in the centre of the road, including on the brow of the hill, to avoid hitting and driving on the damaged surface. The local garage has stated that many local vehicles are being repaired due to the poor condition of this road. Shock absorbers, suspension issues, tracking and the loss of wing mirrors due to vehicles encroaching on to the centre line. My vehicle has been repaired twice in the past four months due to damaged sustained on this road. Some local residents are now avoiding driving along this road to get to Witney and back. The whole road from Claywell Farm turning to the Barley Farm cottages turning is in a worsening state.
