The road from its junction with Potash lane has NUMEROUS potholes which have been there for months and are getting worse.
There are several holes on the verges which need filling in and are fenced off with orange barriers. It must be over eighteen months since these barriers were erected.
The actual junction has been changed recently with priority given to users of Potash lane.Although this makes sense with all the new estates being built, there is not enough room for two cars or larger vehicles to access /depart Milton Heights. As you leave Milton Heights there is a traffic calming measure in place which needs to be removed to also help with traffic flow. About 2/3 weeks ago there were about five men, one with a clipboard, looking at this junction. I spoke to them and aired my feelings which they appeared to agree with but still nothing has been done about it. I would be glad if you could respond to me with your findings before I need to take further action or claim for some new tyres. Regards Carole Maren

Dear Carole,
The area of concern is due to be re-surfaced, but unfortunately we cannot confirm when this will take place, as the contractor who started the works have had their contract terminated by Redrow Homes. They are actively engaging with OCC to get another contractor to finish the works, this is progressing as fast as possible.
Our Site Inspector will take a look at the severity of the potholes, which we will forward onto Redrow Homes, but as mentioned above it is unlikely that they will be able to action these in a timely fashion.
Kind regards

Thankyou for your reply regarding the potholes. However, the other points I raised regarding the junction of Trenchard Avenue with Potash Lane , the traffic calming measure adjacent to the junction and all the orange barriers which have been in situ for ages have not been mentioned. Can you advise the present position regarding these items.
Regards Carole Maren
