Cycle path nearly impossible to navigate due to mud and parked cars

Reported via desktop in the Potholes and maintenance category anonymously at 16:49, Tuesday 8 March 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This stretch of the A40 southern cycle path is now nearly wholly covered by mud due to increasing numbers of cars choosing to park there. Please can the path be cleared. Also, if cars really are allowed to park there, please could a sign be put up asking drivers not to block the cycle path with their car (as in the attached photo). Alternatively, if cars should not be parking, please could this be enforced.
