Inadequate street lighting

Reported via iOS in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 14:27, Tue 8 March 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is a single (yellow) street lamp covering this section of Lovelace Road. The pavement on the south side of the street is too dark to use at night and pedestrians are forced into the road. Please erect an additional street lamp on the south side near to the junction with Banbury Road.

Council ref: 3372064

  • It has been almost three months since this issue was reported. Can you please provide an update?

  • This is still a big problem which has not been addressed. Sunset is getting earlier and the Banbury Road end of Lovelace Road is so dark that the pavement cannot be seen and is hazardous to walk along.
