Road drains still not cleared 2 YEARS after first reporting in Feb 2020

Previous Report - Council ref: ENQ20857177 Two water drains have been blocked outside 162 / 164 Greys Road for two years !!! The footpath was upgraded several years ago to create a ‘safe passage to school’ Pedestrians, including women taking their children to school get soaked by passing cars or stop and cross the road on the dangerous bend where at the most busy time for traffic etc. Every time it rains significantly water runs down our two drives causing flooding at the lowest point. Last time I complained, we were told that we could have ‘sand bags’ - is this a third world country we are living in !!! I asked a council worker with the road sweeper recently and he could’t believe the condition, he said they were supposed to be cleaned regularly and that he would report it - which has clearly fallen on deaf ears. My neighbour has also complained on a number of occasions. Please can we have some action ??? Regards Graham Vitty 164 Greys Road

Only moderate rain today but please look at the result of the two drains which have been blocked for at least 2 years !!!! Heavier rain of which we have had lots results in the two large pools merging and extending at least 2/3 across the carriageway !! Help please.
