Hegdes blocking sight to safely cross on cycle path

Reported via desktop in the Suggested improvements category by Charlie Winward at 10:34, Sat 26 February 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I attache photos of the NCN 51 at Frieze Way. The view is blocked and it means that cyclists and pedestrians need to step into the road to safely cross Frieze Way. Cars approach fast and often from the slip way at Stratfield Brake and it's impossible to see this part of the road without stepping into it. It is unsafe as you can see from the photos but please try it yourself when cycling an NCN with children. This is easily solved by having the high hedge taken back. Why do we need to step into a road to see if it's safe? Please consider this as a very quick, actionable and highly successful safety measure. Thank you for helping us make the roads safer to cycle and walk.
