Give priority to people cycling across the crossing

Reported via desktop in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 20:32, Wed 23 February 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

People walking have a zebra crossing which most drivers understand as somewhere they should give priority to walkers and stop to let them cross. However, the section marked out for people cycling doesn't have give way signs before it and drivers aren't giving people cycling priority to cross. Some are but many are not in my experience. Since the side road priority was changed on the cycle path futher down where the Kings Centre is so that cycles clearly have priority because they are going straight on and vehicles are turning it seems strange for people cycling not to have the same priority over traffic at the crossing on this corner, where people cycling are effectively going straight on and vehicles are turning. For me it makes total sense having installed a new cycle path to promote safe cycling, that people cycling should have priority over vehicles through out the distance of the new path.
