Light attached to wall is loose and knocking

Reported via desktop in the Other Lighting Issue category anonymously at 15:27, Fri 18 February 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Large light which covers public footpath and garages at Ferriston, is fixed high on wall of house number 5. It has worked loose and even in weak wind bangs backwards and forwards onto house wall. It is directly above public footpath and cars parked in public car park. It is very large and if falls will cause injury and damage

  • This light was removed as unsafe, came away in workmanship hands ! No new light fitted, told me it wasn't his department, but would pass details on. This was now months ago, whole of carpark area and public footpath is in total darkness at night, pitch black. This is another hazard, especially being a footpath used from nearby bus stop to houses away from street.
