Damaged 50mph Speed limit sign not reinstated

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Leslie Clyne at 19:30, Tue 15 February 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

SGN Gas people repaired a major gas leak near 50 mph sign 6S on Oxford Road (opposite sign 5S which is still there and working), north of Peachcroft roundabout, Abingdon about 5 weeks ago. They removed the sign, damaged it and the post is now lying in a ditch. I contacted SGN about 4 weeks ago and they said it would be replaced in 2 weeks. When that didn't happen I then contacted the County Council Highways team and SGN told them they would replace it. However still no replacement has appeared. Please can you facilitate SGN replacing your sign. Thank you. Leslie Clyne.
