Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

These indentations have worsened over last 2/3 years. The splashes from cars are now causing serious damp problems on the wall of my house. From the photo you can see the dark patch just below the window

  • Mr Mark Armstrong of the council attended on 29 March and confirmed that the problem was not utility related but the responsibility of the highway maintenance department. Indentations on the road surface result in poor drainage which causes substantial spray from passing vehicles to be thrown against the wall of the house. This is leading to dampness within the wall which will affect the value of the property. Any loss of value would be the direct responsibility of the council. Can you please remedy this problem promptly.
