Dangerous Zebra Crossing

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category by Trish Elphinstone at 17:41, Mon 14 February 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A resident reports concern over safety and poor visibility for the zebra crossing. It is placed close to the junction and drivers come across very quickly (because it in line with the road)

Better lighting is needed for visibility. A ramp would slow down cars and improve the safety

Council ref: ENQ22916808

  • I came to additionally report this dangerous zebra crossing. Without exaggeration, cars fail to stop 4 of 5 days per week when I cross. There is a need for tree trimming, but perhaps more importantly, the striped paint on the road is nearly fully worn, which makes it hard for cars to identify.
