Large Dead Trees i danger of falling into/onto property
Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 19:04, Wednesday 19 January 2022
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I have been fighting with the council for mo the on end now. We have issues with trees on the other side of our garden, inbetween the boundaries on our deeds and then the main road.
My local Councillor Jenny Hanby declined responsibility on the councils part, and I was in contact with the tree office for the council who denied responsibility claiming that it was nobody's land and they belong to the crown.
I have today had 2 seperate tree surgeon companies round today who have said that 2 of the larger trees in the images attached that they are dead and in heavy winds at risk of falling down into/onto our property.
Please can you help us get this resolved as have been going round in circles for months!!!

Thank you for your report. I have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The trees present are on land maintainable by the adjacent landowner and not by the County Council. I shall send correspondence to the landowner, detailing the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to resolve the situation.
Many Thanks for your enquiry
