Cars parking tearing up verges & the only place pedestrians can walk as no footpath

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Constantly / permanently get cars parking on the verge and making a right muddy mess of the only safe place to walk as a pedestrian without walking in the road already tripped trying to get past . Wondered if it was possible to put some bollards or rocks or some other obstacles yellow lines as road also narrows at this point . Lorry’s have to mount front garden of 122 to get past just to prevent vehicles parking on the verge , these vehicles don’t even live in the properties they are parked outside of . Spoke to Highways and they advised put on here . Or if you could give me details of best department to deal . Thank you

  • Another vehicle heavy van churning up verge vehicle belongs to https://www.churchesfire.com/ . No where for pedestrians to walk safely being forced to walk into the road putting themselves and others at risk

    Impossible to walk safely without being forced into the road . Whose responsibility is it if pedestrian is hurt by being forced into the carriageway? Council for not acting or those causing an obstruction ?
